Last Updated: June 23, 2026
Elite Golf Society, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company (“EGS,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy (this “Policy”). This Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data about you when you visit or use our website located at elitegolfsociety.com (the “Website”), register for or use our member portal and login services (the “Member Portal”), make payments through the Website, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the “Services”).
This Policy applies to information we collect through the Services, including when you create a member account, log in to the Member Portal, make a payment, communicate with us by email, or interact with advertising and links to third-party websites that are made available through the Services. This Policy does not apply to information collected by any third-party website, application, or service that you access through links or advertisements on the Website, even if those links appear on or are accessible from our Services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, you must not access or use the Services.
Eligibility and Children's Data
The Services are intended solely for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. The Services are not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from, anyone under the age of 18. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If we learn that we have collected personal data from someone under 18 years of age, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe we might have any information from or about a person under 18, please contact us at [email protected].
The Personal Data We Collect
“Personal data” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated with you. We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account and contact information, including your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, username, and password, when you register for the Member Portal.
- Payment information, including billing information and payment card details processed through our third-party payment processor in connection with membership dues, fees, or other purchases made through the Services. EGS does not store full payment card numbers; payment information is collected and processed by our payment processor on our behalf.
- Membership and account history, including your subscription status, dues and fee payment history, event registrations, and golf handicap (“GHIN”) information you choose to provide.
- Device and usage information, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits, collected automatically through cookies and similar tracking technologies.
- Communications you send to us, including emails, inquiries, feedback, and messages submitted through our Contact Us form or AI chat/Q&A feature.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, precise geolocation, or biometric information) through the Services. If this changes, we will update this Policy and obtain any consents required by applicable law.
How We Collect Personal Data
Directly from you. We collect personal data when you create a Member Portal account, log in, update your profile, make a payment, register for events, or contact us.
Automatically. As you use the Services, we and our service providers may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to automatically collect information about your device and your interactions with the Services. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling cookies may limit your ability to use certain Services features, including the Member Portal.
From third parties. Our payment processor and other service providers may share information with us, such as confirmation that a payment was successfully processed, in order to support the Services.
How We Use Your Personal Data
We use the personal data we collect to:
- Create and administer your Member Portal account and verify your identity.
- Process membership applications, dues, fees, and other payments.
- Communicate with you about your membership, events, activities, renewals, and account status.
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
- Comply with our legal obligations, enforce our Website Terms of Use and Membership Terms & Conditions, and protect the rights, property, and safety of EGS, our members, and others.
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
We do not use your personal data for any purpose materially different from those described above without providing notice or obtaining consent as required by applicable law.
How We Disclose Your Personal Data
We do not sell your personal data, and we have not sold personal data in the preceding 12 months. We do not share your personal data with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose personal data as follows:
- To service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processors, website hosting providers, email service providers, and IT support, who are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us.
- To advertisers and sponsors that purchase advertising space on the Website; however, we only provide such advertisers with aggregated or de-identified information, not your personal data, unless you separately interact with and provide information directly to that advertiser or its linked third-party website.
- To comply with applicable law, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of EGS, our members, or others.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, in which personal data may be among the assets transferred.
- With your consent or at your direction.
Contact Forms and AI Chat/Q&A Features
The Website may include a “Contact Us” form and an AI-powered chat or Q&A feature (“AI Assistant”) that allows you to submit questions or messages, which may be answered automatically by the AI Assistant and/or followed up on by EGS staff.
When you submit a message through the Contact Us form or the AI Assistant, we collect the personal data you choose to include, such as your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message. Please do not include sensitive information (such as health, injury, financial, or government identification information) in any message unless necessary, as these communications are not a substitute for a medical or professional consultation and may not be transmitted through a secure channel.
Messages submitted through the Contact Us form or AI Assistant, including the content of your questions and our (or the AI Assistant’s) responses, may be stored by us and our service providers for purposes of responding to you, maintaining records, training and improving the AI Assistant, and quality and safety review.
The AI Assistant may be powered by a third-party artificial intelligence service provider (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or a similar provider). If so, the content of your messages may be transmitted to and processed by that third-party provider in order to generate a response. We require such providers to handle information consistent with applicable law and not to use your messages to train their general-purpose models for the benefit of other customers, except as otherwise disclosed to you at the point of collection. Responses generated by the AI Assistant are provided for general informational purposes only, may be reviewed or followed up on by EGS staff, and should not be relied upon as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
Third-Party Links and Advertising
The Services may contain advertisements and links to third-party websites and partner offers that are not owned or controlled by EGS. This Policy does not apply to, and we are not responsible for, the privacy practices of any third-party websites or advertisers. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party website before providing any personal data to it.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Member Portal, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the Website. You can set your browser to refuse some or all browser cookies, but if you do, some parts of the Services, including the Member Portal, may become inaccessible. Some browsers support a Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signal; because we do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising, no additional action is required to honor a GPC signal, but we will continue to monitor and comply with applicable law as it develops.
How Long We Retain Personal Data
We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your membership records, comply with our legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When personal data is no longer needed for these purposes, we will delete, destroy, or de-identify it.
How We Protect Your Personal Data
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your Member Portal login credentials confidential.
Your State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residency and applicable law, you may have certain rights related to your personal data:
- Access and Data Portability. You may confirm whether we process your personal data and request access to a copy of the personal data we maintain about you. To the extent feasible and required by applicable law, data will be provided in a portable format.
- Correction. You may request that we correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
- Deletion. You may request that we delete personal data about you, subject to certain exceptions under applicable law.
- Opt Out of Targeted Advertising, Profiling, and Sales. You may request that we do not use your personal data for these purposes, subject to applicable law.
- Important. The exact scope of these rights varies significantly by state. There are also several exceptions where we may not have an obligation to fulfill your request. Some states provide additional or different rights as detailed below.
California (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), with respect to your personal data, subject to certain exceptions:
- Right to Know/Access. The right to request that we disclose the personal data we have collected about you and how we have used and disclosed it.
- Right to Delete. The right to request deletion of personal data we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct. The right to request correction of inaccurate personal data we maintain about you.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing. The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal data. As noted above, we do not sell or share personal data.
- Right to Non-Discrimination. The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your CCPA rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected] with the subject line “California Privacy Request.”
European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and UK GDPR may apply to our processing of your personal data. In that case:
- Legal basis for processing. We process your personal data on the basis of (i) performance of the membership contract between you and EGS, (ii) our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services, (iii) compliance with legal obligations, and (iv) your consent where required.
- Your rights. You have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction on the processing of your personal data; the right to data portability; and the right to object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdrawing consent. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
- Right to complain. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
- International transfers. Because EGS is based in the United States, your personal data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. We take steps designed to ensure your personal data receives an adequate level of protection wherever it is processed.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
Some browsers and browser extensions support the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) that can send a signal to process your request to opt out from certain types of data processing, including data “sales” as defined under certain laws. When we detect such a signal, we will make reasonable efforts to respect your choices indicated by a GPC setting as required by applicable law.
Nevada
Nevada provides its residents with a limited right to opt out of certain personal data sales. Residents who wish to exercise their sale opt-out rights may submit a request to [email protected]. However, please know we do not currently sell data triggering that statute’s opt-out requirements.
Other U.S. States and Future Laws
Other U.S. states including Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Virginia (VCDPA), Utah (UCPA), and others have enacted or are enacting privacy laws that provide similar rights to those described above. To the extent any state law applies to you, we are committed to honoring the consumer rights it provides. If you are a resident of any state with privacy rights and wish to exercise them, please contact us at [email protected] with your request and your state of residence. This provision also applies to any future state privacy laws that may be enacted, to ensure your privacy rights are protected as laws evolve.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy on the Website and revise the “Last Updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after we post changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
